House explanation
You have 2 sets of keys to the house.
The house is small but highly functional. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and microwave (this is in the kitchen cupboard). The fridge is always at number 1, but you can make it colder according to the amount of food in it, and the washing machine is in the bathroom. If you have any doubts about how it works, please ask us.
The windows of the house have shutters, and it’s important to keep them bolted with the handles on the walls to prevent them from banging if it’s windy.
On the 2 terraces you will find an automatic awning, which is operated by the control that you will find next to the exit doors to the terraces. This is automatically retracted if it detects that it is too windy.
The chairs on the terraces have cushions. If it rains any day, we ask you to please pick them up to prevent them from getting wet. That way you can use them again when it stops raining.
Watch out for the draught. If you have the bedroom and dining room windows open, they’ll create an air current that can cause the doors to close abruptly, especially the entry door to the house. Be careful! You will see that behind the front door to the house there is a latch, if they put it they will avoid having doors.
WiFi from the house
They just have to scan the QR code on the router. We recommend that you scan the 2 codes to have better coverage throughout the house.
Free WiFi in Begur
Begur features free WiFi. This service is available in Esteve and Cruañas Square, Church Square, Town Square and Forgas Square.
The free WiFi ‘Begur.cat’ works at a speed of 6 MB (symmetrical) and can be accessed for a maximum of 2 hours a day. Simply connect to the free “Begur.cat” and click on “To click here online”.
Parking
Next to the house outside, you will see that there are 3 parking spaces, the one in the house is the parking lot that is closer and that goes with a barrier, so that people do not put outside.
Waste
Begur has a door-to-door waste collection service. Inside the house you’ll find 3 differently coloured containers, each for a type of waste to recycle, and different types of rubbish are collected three days a week.
The only bins that must be taken outside to the street are the orange and grey ones. The fence outside the house has two hooks for fixing the bins to protect them from the wind.
Below are 3 links that explain how and when the collections are made.

Recharge Electric Car
Currently in Begur there are 8 charging points in operation distributed in two stations. One of them located in the car park of the Plaza dels Indians and the other right next to the roundabout towards Sa Riera. In each station there are 2 chargers, 1 semi-fast charge and 1 fast charge. Both allow the simultaneous charging of 2 vehicles.
It is necessary to download the Vilalta Greenergy App

Bus line service to the beaches
During the holiday season (in 2024, from 8 June to 15 September, inclusive), a convenient shuttle bus connects the beaches of Sa Riera, Fornells / Aiguablava and Sa Tuna with Begur.
The bus leaves from and arrives at Forgas Square. On the Sa Riera and Sa Tuna round trip, the bus also stops at the Font de Baix / Parc Arbreda Car Park. Therefore, to avoid the seasonal parking chaos in the beach car parks, it’s a good idea to leave the car in the official car parks at the entrance of Begur and take the bus directly to the beach to avoid problems.
Just go down from the house to the roundabout and you’ll come to the stop where you can catch the bus at the times shown in the link that I’ve provided.
